Climber for a pot.

I'm after something to cover the fence by my patio. It has to go in a pot. The fence is sunny. Ideally I'd like something evergreen. Would Californian lilac be suitable? Any suggestions?

Planted Passion flower in a pot yesterday! Hoping it'll take well.

I've got passion climbers in pots and they survive. They get bigger each year. I bought mine for 1.89 in Morrisons!

Ah great, I was planning on going to Morrisons for raspberry canes later so I'll keep my eyes open for Passion flowers .

Clematis summer or winter variety, a lot of the winter ones are evergreen.
