Cherry tree - fruit flies

The last few years we've had fruit flies/magots attacking our cherries. The tree is huge and i don't know how to stop them destroying all the fruit. Any advice?

Hi. Sorry for the late reply (I was looking for planting advice and came across your post). Have you tried CherryAid nets? They wrap around the branches and are made of very fine netting material to keep out birds and fruit flies. We had great success with them last year!
