We are shortly going to be buying a summerhouse (yippee!) and deciding where best to place it. Our garden is quite long and one end faces the sea. There is a place we could put it so it's southfacing and kind of facing the sea which is I think my first choice. However in this location we can't see much of the rest of garden (for supervising the kids) and it's a bit less private from neighbours. It will almost back directly onto the neighbours northfacing summerhouse (with the best views) The other location would be north facing, but completely private and close to where the kids will be playing.
Am I right to chose south facing with view over north facing with privacy??
