Buying salad seeds

Can anyone recommend a cut-and-come-again lettuce mix with more than a couple of varieties, and a mix of mild non-lettuce leaves. Or do people make their own mixes?

I do my own - but not a mix, I do rows or blocks. I find similar plants seem to thrive better when they are next to each other. I do not know why this would be -it's purely anecdotal, and not any kind of science!

Leaves I like: winter density lettuce, lollo rosso lettuce, rocket, mizuna (this will blow your head off!), mustard (ditto), lamb's lettuce. Red-veined sorrel is nice for a vinegarey one and looks a picture, but self-seeds everywhere.

I'm doing leaf celery this year, thanks to chuck - really looking forward to trying this.

I buy the oriental salad mix. Red sorrel is pretty and spreads like weeds. Rocket is easy to grow. I agree that I get better results with separately sown plants. It's not a salad unless the leaves are baby ones, but swiss chard is fab. Spinach is easy to grow too.

The winter salad mixes are pretty good too.

I tend to buy one or two packets, and sow into separate pots. I am the only one who eats it, so I tend to stick to two, and sow little and often - one is called salad bowl, with green and red varieties MIX 1 and the other is this MIX 2
I also grow spinach, and pick baby leaves off that

I've grown this for a few years with good results - nice flavour. I've grown that one too hands and it was excellent. Sowing seeds at 3-weekly intervals is a good idea and keep them watered.
It's amazing how easy it is to grow salad that is expensive to buy in the supermarket. And it tastes so much better straight out of the garden.
