What recommendations would you give me for veg/fruit to grow in pots in a semi-sunny site (other than spuds - have read that thread!, tomatoes, strawberries & herbs). I've heard carrots are good - what size pot? Is there any chance of doing peas (however few...)

TIA!

you should take a look at the new Suttons Seeds catalogue. They've got a big selection of fruit and veg for pots and a section especially for kids that have quick growing, high yield produce. They had peas/beans/courgettes/baby corns/blackcurrents etc. I guess they'll have a website.
