Cats and bulbs

How do you stop cats digging up bulbs? We've tried orange peel.

Chicken wire over the top,not pretty but it works.

The thing that they like is the soft, tilled soil, so if you put prickly stuff on top like teasles or bits of holly or even just some pea sticks, that will tend to deter them.
