Hi I had some tubers last year which flowered beautifully. Lifted them at the end of the season and stored in newspaper in dark, cold room.

When I came to use them sadly they were quite squishy and bits were mouldly, but not all. I planted them and they've grown jnto plants but no sign of flowers for most of them. Have they had it or is it worth trying again next year?

you could try lifting them, making sure they dry out and storing 'til the spring. Then take cuttings from the tubers. You do this by either putting the tubers in individual pots, or even just lay it on a bed of potting compost that is slightly wet, store at a temperature of about 20 degrees. as little shoots appear, add more compost. Once the shoots are about 6" tall cut off with a sharp knife, dip in rooting hormone and pot up. Hopefully you will end up with a selection of new, healthy plants.
