I planted gladioli and peacock orchid bulbs from Morrisons for the first time this year.
Unfortunately I was a bit late getting them in and I received a lovely display of leaves but no flowers
They're in about 8 or so pots dotted about the south facing flowerbed. Does anyone know whether I need to lift them somewhere cool and dry? Could I lift the whole pots and hope for the best? I hate lifting bulbs
I was hoping to give them another shot next year by getting them out much earlier (once the risk of frost has passed).
I'm in the SE, waiting for the leaves to die back but so far they're pretty lush. I'm expecting this to change soon as the arctic winds sweep in...
