Can I save these? Pics

I bought these a couple of months ago to sit either side my front door but stupidly put them under the porch roof so it stopped them getting rained on. They were absolutely bone dry when I noticed they had gone yellow.
I've bought them round the back with the intention of watering them everyday.
Will I be able to save them or is it curtains?
They are more yellow than they look in the photo..

Is it the boxy hedge stuff? Might it be a caterpillar infestation? I have had this and just threw the plants away. Look carefully at the leaves, and underneath them, is there cobwebby stuff? Cant remember the exact name, but its an asian caterpillar i think.
If its just dry, i am not sure how long they would take to recover, give them a few weeks maybe...and if no improvement then throw them away

I think all you can do is wait and see - but don't overwater either in winter.
