CorTen steel is ubiquitous now in high end gardens, and boy does it look lovely.
But as an amateur, I don't have the first idea about it.
- How do you get hold of it? Do you buy sheets and have them bent into shape? Or does it come pre-formed??
- I notice Adam Frost is using it for raised beds in his fancy new veg patch (I'm not jealous
). Does the iron not leach into the soil and cause issues? Or is it sealed in some way??
- Does it drip rust? Do you have to be careful using it around, say, white paving?
