Moving allium bulbs

Hello,
I had a splendid display this summer with my first try with allium bulbs (Christophii) but I realised that they were too close together.

Can I /Should I lift them and replant further apart? Or should I dig up and but new ones and do it properly this time?

It was only 7 bulbs but I would like to let them come back if possible as they seemed to like the position they were in too.

Thank you ( novice gardener!)

You could possibly pot them up separately in good compost, give them TLC through winter, and plant out early next year:

I am always accidentally digging up allium bulbs this time of year as I shift around my perennials. I just shove them back in, and they seem to do just fine. Smile. You may find that there are little bulblets on them for new plants!
