Flower ID -yellow jasmine?

Hi - is this yellow jasmine? It didn't seem to flower this year but now has couple of yellow flowers, it's growing up side of house about 3 metres high- can I prune it now to help flower?

It looks like winter jasmine to me, so if by 'this year' you mean 'this summer' then no, it wouldn't have flowered! I have a lot which grows through the fence from next door and just hack it back whenever it invades too far, so I don't know the correct pruning but I suspect probably not now. I just took a look aytmine, no flowers yet but a lot of small buds .

ok thanks for the replies- we have been in this house a year and I dont think it flowered last winter but I'll leave it for now and see what happens over this winter

You didn't hack it back when you moved in did you? I just googled www.google.co.uk/#q=winter+flowering+jasmine+pruning - definitely don't prune it now!
