Garden design software?

The time has come for us to get our heads round replanning the garden in the house we moved into 2 years ago.
It's half an acre, a silly shape (no right angles), not flat, lots of fixed points like summerhouses and mature trees.

I have been trying to draw it all out on graph paper and just ended up going aargh.

Does anyone know if there is garden design software that I can use, where I can start out by uploading a scanned plan rather than have to draw it all out on the screen, but won't be too difficult to learn to use because I have no experience of CAD or other design software?

I don't mind paying a bit for it.

Thanks.

Thanks, Ferguson!
I am getting the feeling that not a lot of people on here have used software for this and that in itself is interesting iyswim.

I've tried to do this in the past. And failed. But I have a short attention plan. What did work for me was taking a photo, printing it out A4, then tracing it out, adding and deleting things as I wanted. Gave me the courage to make bigger borders. But you've got a larger plot so may not be useful....

That's interesting Did, thank you. I can see that working for individual bits.

In the process of trying to find software I have discovered one useful thing, which is that it's possible to take measurements from Google Earth.
