Veg Trug

Hi, I have been given a veg Trug for my birthday. (I already have a couple which are planted up)

What veggies could I plant now? Is there anything I could start now that would over winter?

I have got things like beetroot carrots lettuces in my others.
Would seem such a shame to leave this one empty but realise it is late in the season - may be even stuff that grows over the winter should already be on the go by now?

Thank you

What about doing a salad crop now that you can harvest in autumn, then popping in broadbean or peas to overwinter?

Alternatively, if you can find plants you can pop in some over-wintering brassicas. Purple sprouting b/caulis/cabbages?

Would love some cauli or cabbage. Not sure where I would find plants. Maybe online? Will look
