Having come back off holiday my two hanging baskets are looking awful. I could try and resurrect them, but think I'll just replant. I usually do this early October with panseys but not sure what to put in them this early on. Any ideas great fully appreciated!? Thanks

At Lidl they have Sweet Williams and Pinks which would smell lovely. B&Q had pansies and cyclamen. Tescos offerings were a bit rubbish in my neck of the woods, those awful dyed heathers. I hope I have got the shops and plants in the right order! DIY and uniform shopping today. Sainsbury's had nothing to speak of.

I agree that pinks would look good I started my summer baskets with them plus pink geraniums and they have been spectacular. Try your local supermarket or garden centre see what is in flower and experiment most plants that are in flower now will last to early October.
