Yoghurt pots

I have it in my head that I can use yoghurt pots for planting seeds in and I now have a huge stash in the cupboard but am I right? Or did I just imagine reading somewhere that they are ok?

You can.

And then just pull them out when you're ready to put them in the ground.

My dad uses paper egg cartons, though, b/c then he can just plant the seedling right into hte ground when the time comes, as the paper disintegrates.
