Why is my strawberry plant sad

Hey

This plant is adopted when we bought this house 8 weeks ago had a few strawberry on for a few weeks and now looks dead to me.

What do I do with it?

Total garden novice !

Oops

It needs new compost. So pot it on into a bigger pot or plant it in the ground. Strawberries always look a bit tired after fruiting.
