What to do with saplings?

I've got some lovely healthy oak and ash saplings in my garden. What can I do with them? I can't keep them obviously but I don't want to chuck them either!

I have absolutely no idea, but could you get in touch with the Woodland Trust and see if they can help?

offer them to a local community garden, school, allotment society, friends-of-local-park etc.
