I thought this was a kerria, but I don't think it is now the flowers have appeared. It has straight, hollow stems and is vigorous. Does anyone have any ideas please?

I would say it was a Kerria. Were the flowers yellow?

I have one in dry full sun and it spreads along the bed. Some of the stems do dry out in the sun.

Thanks JT05 - it's the flowers that are throwing me off thinking it is kerria. They are little spear-shaped clusters of cream flowers. I thought they were buds which would open into yellow flowers, but they haven't.

It looks like Kerria there are some cream ones. I would take a piece to a nursery and ask them.
