Poo identification

I have a slug/snail problem so my lupin, hosta and begonias are all on a windowsill. I was moving the pots today and found lots of poo, similar to the worm casings you find on the beach except it was black. What would that be from?

Is it not worm casts on soil instead of sand?

No, these are on the windowsill, not the ground/soil.

Slug/snail excrement.

Yes snails are prolific poo-ers

I saw a programme recently where snail eggs where being sold to the rich for a fortune. We had quite a few in the sandpit and just chucked them Grin
