Advice needed on how much to pay gardener

I can't manage all the garden work myself and think I need to get someone in to help for about 4 - 5 hours a week. Would prefer someone who knows what they are doing as I don't know much myself. Veg garden and usual borders but not mowing lawns as DH does that. Can anyone advise me what I should expect to pay as an hourly rate? We are in Wiltshire. Thanks.

my gran had a rubbish one that was really just a handy man, didn't know much about plants, he was £10 an hour. she now has a new one, not qualified or anything but knows his stuff, he's £15 an hour. in the winter he does other stuff like painting garden furniture, mending things etc. she has him for 4 hours every thursday.

We're in the Midlands and our qualified gardner charges £10ph - she is fab.
