Can Anyone Identify This Plant Please

Bought at a plant sale a few weeks ago and have forgotten what it is. Think flowerbed plant rather than veg! Any ideas please? Tia

The leaf facing the camera is probably a seed leaf and looks a bit of a weird shape, but I'd guess at courgette.

Is it Black-eyed Susan (Thunbergia), climber with orange flowers?

Could possibly be nasturtium as well?

My recollection was that it could grow tall so poppy may be right!

I would guess morning glory.

Another vote for Morning glory - after planting some a few years ago, I get seedlings pop up every summer, and very welcome they are too!

scrap that. Just had a look at my Morning glory- the seed leaves look like yours and then on they resemble a heart shape so can vote on Morning Glory as well

Haha, is it the same as bindweed? We have an ongoing battle with that in another bed.

its in the same family but this one dies off with frosts etc whereas the bindweed bugger manages sub zero/ice age temperatures!!

It is easy enough to keep under control in our frost prone climate, however I recommended it to my sister who lives in California and apparently it is a vile weed round there, prone to climbing up to the roof edges and lifting off tiles!

Looks more like a vegetable to me- cucumber of other sort of squash.
