Is one of these a weed?

I've never known what these are and somebody told me the middle one could be a weed. The whole bush needs a good trim but if it's a weed then I will pull it all out. Thanks in advance I'm not very green fingered.

Picture 1 is the whole bush, picture 2 is close up of the left and picture 3 Is a close up of the right. I will add a close up of the Middle one now.

This is the middle one.

It's spotted laurel, not sure what the one on right is but they are all garden plants rather than weeds 😊

Think the middle pic in your first post is a spotted laurel.

Whether the plants are weeds depends on if you want them or not!

I'm not sure because picture is a bit blurred, but picture 1 looks like it might be a buddleia. Did it have purple or white flowers. The second looks like an aucuba. They're pretty imo. Definitely not a weed. Picture 3 I have in my garden but brain has gone temporarily blank.

Don't think either is officially a weed. If you like them, trim and see what happens. If you dislike any of them, pull them out. Bet they come back anyway!!!

I think there's been purple flowers on one of them before, I cant remember which one.

Last time I trimmed the middle one I ended up losing most of the leaves because the branches are so long and they only have the leaves on the very end. How do I combat that?

The yellow one, I think could be spiraea 'Gold Flame' and will probably flower soon - little purple flowers possibly. You can prune it back if it gets too large.

They all look like shrubs not weeds.

I also think Third one is spiraea - was wanting to buy one. Lovely, bright leaves. If you pull it out can I have it?
