Spots on my new Japanese Acer

Just that really potted up a new dwarf variety and noticed some marks on the leaves. No evidence of bugs and stem looms fine but marks are white kind of dead looking. Will get a picture in the morning.

Any ideas?

Is it from the sun? Ours didn't like the sun at all and got very speckled looking.

No I put it in the shade.
