What characterises the ideal 2020 garden?

So I was looking around and thinking how some gardens are stuck in the seventies and then began to wonder what plants, planting and features would characterise a lovely 2020 garden? Any thoughts?

Gladioli. They've been out of fashion for so long now their time must be coming again soon....

Dahlias were out of fashion for ages, but seem to be having a resurgence. Perhaps vertical gardens, as more people have less space?

A high maintenance garden will be a sign you have money. The time poor will have low maintenance gardens.

As dear old Christopher Lloyd used to say, low maintenance gardens are for people who aren't really interested...

I think sustainability, wildlife friendliness, some degree of food growing will be modern concerns. Just caring for the space really. It is a bit shocking how neglected 70% of British gardens are... That's a lot of space that's not really being used.

I think white concrete seating will become retro

I haven't worked out the weather variance thing yet but if summers continue to be wet I think people will finf a way. Covered patios with removable wall panels or something.
