Gardener's World Live - any good?

That basically - has anyone been and is it any good? (Or is it just a massive PITA and full of over-priced plants and other crap stuff?)

I've been to things like the Good Food show (years ago, pre-kids) and loved it but I did go to the Ideal Home show too and that was rubbish; full of expensive tat as I recall.

I'm a new gardener so ideally I'd be going for ideas & inspiration, cheap plants and an enjoyable day out.

There won't be cheap plants (or cheap anything), and it is essentially a huge garden centre, but there are lots of ideas and plants you won't see in the local Wyevale.

It's on a par with the Good Food show for quality of demos and variety of products available.

You'd only need to go once - it's the same old same old most years. If you're lucky, you can get some good ideas/bits and bobs but no cheap plants.
