We are a few weeks away from a garden overhaul... And I need to start thinking about plants but I am a total novice and have no ideas...I sort of know what I want but no idea what plants will meet those needs so would be grateful for any pointers!
First dilemma is... Area to side of house - plenty of sun most of day - will be covered in shingle in the next few weeks ( no patio due to subsidence issues) - I would love to grow a climbing plant up the side wall of the shed ( faces the table area) but how? In a planter? On trellis? And what plants?! Ideally something with colour - I like the purple clematis but no idea If this would work?!
