Beasties on outdoor pot plants

I have over 10 pots with winter pansies in them outside. Some have beasties on them I think they are mites as I googled them. I don't know what to do. Should I bin them? The ones without beasties have terrible black spots on the leaves. I've cut all the spotty leaves off. Is there any hope for them? Some of the plants are summer pansys/violas from last May

The black spots could be an anthracnose infection - Google image 'anthracnose pansies' and see if it looks similar. Probably best to root up and bin them if you think it is.

The pest - I can't be sure but it looks a bit like whitefly! In February! Blimey. Are they somewhere quite sheltered?

Thanks shovetheholly I had a google, it looks more like pansy leaf spot, says you can use Bayer Garden Multirose to treat them. Would I be as well to bin them? They weren't expensive, but I grew some of them from seed and I feel attached (sorry don't mean to sound like a weirdo)
The pest looks very similar to whitefly eggs, plants are in a south facing garden in Scotland not sheltered at all.
Can I buy something for whitefly? Off to google xx

I think spraying with a fungicide would probably work - it's really a question whether it's worth it to you! Personally, I'd bin and start again, but that's because I'd be more worried about containing and preventing spread/environmental impact of the fungicide. If you are very attached to them, it may be worth a try.

Neem oil is supposed to work brilliantly as a spray on whitefly. Alternatively, a bit of Ecover washing up liquid diluted with water might be enough (esp this time of year).

Thanks I've given it a spray of Ecover & water & moved it away from the other plants. Will wait & see how it gets on
