Just wondering if this is a weed or plant or a salad vegetable?

It looks rather like rocket. Try nibbling a bit, should taste a bit peppery.

Also, grab bunch of leaves near to the soil and pull. Possibly white radish/mooli/daikon.

Was it just there when you moved in or do you remember planting it but can't remember what you planted - what is the backstory is what I'm asking !

It's actually my friend's new house, the people who owned it previously had a "kitchen garden" and he hasn't got to first bloody clue!

I said I'd ask those that would in the know!

I'm going to tell him to pull some up to see what's underneath.
