Storing unplanned spring bulbs

I bought lots of daffodil and tulip bulbs in lidl earlier this year and didn't get around to planting them.

Is there any way I can store them to plant next year?

I would probably chance planting them anyway but the weather is awful hereGrin

NEXT YEAR IS TOO LATE!

Plant them now, if necessary in large pots or trays, using bulb fibre, or a compost suitable for bulbs. If there are too many for your pots, 'layer' them, with larger ones at the bottom, smaller ones nearer the top. Keep them outside, in a reasonably sheltered place, but still exposed to winter frosts etc (which they may need, so they know when spring comes!)

Then, when the weather is suitable, or they are showing shoots, they can go in the garden, planted at roughly the correct depth.
