Passion flower fruit?

I've got a few fruit from my Passion flower vine and I'm wondering if the birds will like them?

I'd try them myself but a bit worried that if they're not 100% ripe that I'd get a stomach upset! But I don't want them to go to waste either. Does anyone know please? Thank you x

According to the RHS site, they are edible when completely ripe, but they won't be nearly as delicious as the ones in the shops because they are not the same species!

(Think I might be tempted to leave them for the birds!! Something will eat them, never fear!)
