What am I doing wrong?

I got this rose earlier this month, it was thriving when I got it but now it's looking a bit worse for wear. I've kept it on the table so it's got light but not in direct light, been watering it every few days. Where am I going wrong?

Is your room quite dark? It looks like it's leaning a bit towards the light. Maybe put it somewhere a bit brighter? If the leaves are going a bit yellow, maybe look at watering (too much or too little can cause this).

These pot roses need an occasional feed - you can get rose food at the garden centre. They're often best planted outdoors after a bit if you have space.

It wants to be outside . Do you have a patio/ balcony / garden ? Take it out of the outer pot, or it will drown outside . Once it's finished flowering , cut it back a bit and repot in some fresh compost and a bigger pot. It can live in that all winter

It will want fed next summer in the growing season
