Anyone know what this is pls - is it a weed?

I can't remember planting it and it looks 'weedy', but we did plant some stuff last year that I thought hadn't survived so I'm not sure. I was going to see if it flowered or anything - but tempted just to pull it out. Anyone any ideas?

Tarragon?

Don't think so - doesn't smell like it and the lower leaves are really big. Definitely didn't plant tarragon so would be surprised at it randomly appearing

Yeah, I'm struggling to see the lower leaves really well on my phone. The top leaves look the spit of my Russian Tarragon, though.

That's not tarragon, the leaves are too thick. I think it's a weed.

Some kind of willowherb?

I decided it must be a weed and pulled it out. Mainly 'cos we went to Columbia rd this am and it was in the way of where I wanted to put my new plants. Thanks everyone
