Hi MN'ers

I have this (pic attached) plant in my garden and was wondering what kind of plant it is and if its worth keeping it,please let me know what it is

I think it might be gaultheria shallon - does it get chains of white/pink bell shaped flowers on it?

Otherwise it's a bit straggly which made me think it could be a sapling that's grown from a stray seed.

But, the photo doesn't give a sense of scale.

How long have you lived there? Just thinking that if it hasn't been a year yet it may flower after June which would identify it.
