Thinking of selling some of my surplus plants. I always have loads leftover as i have very green fingers and am a lucky propagator (everything i strike/cut/sow survives). Thought i could make the most of the ability nature gave me to make a bit iof extra cash.

Any tips ?

No but we often buy things from a man who lives in quite a large house on our school run...he has a masisve greenhouse and often sells plants and at Christmas he makes lovely wreaths too...he has a big sign outside his drive...it says something like "Plants & Baskets For Sale...drive in!" so people know they're welcome as it looks just like a private house.

When we first went, we couldn't find him but eventually found him sitting in his greenhouse making wreaths with his flask next to him...he's about 80 odd and we love going as he's always got something nice.

One of my neighbours does. She puts the plants on a table, opposite her house for some reason - quiet country lane - with a blanket price for all (50p each or £1, I can't quite remember), and an honesty box.

Loads of people do around here - there 's usually an honesty box or people ask for money to be put through the letter box. Prices range from 50p to £1
