Grape hyacinths

Love these when they are in flower but don't think I can stand their horrible tangly leaves for the rest of the year. They seem to spread everywhere too. Are they really a weed to be removed?

We got rid of most of ours, but a few still manage to pop up.

Don't the leaves die off in a while?

The leaves die off after a few weeks. Or you can just cut the leaves down after a while.
