Anyone offer ideas on making my garden beautiful on the cheap?

The most sunny spot is the left hand corner behind the shed so I would be keen to have this as a seating area... Patio or even considered stones as it needs to be cheap and I will be doing myself!

I would also like the shed moved possibly into back right hand corner

How can I make the most of this small garden ?

Lovely space - tons of potential there. But we need to know a bit more about what you like and what you need!

Basically with a narrow but wide space, you could have anything from curves (great for providing a 'journey' in a small space) to something really rectilinear (more formal, but with a larger space in the middle).

Wow I love those pictures, especially the first one with the trees/plants behind the seating area as they sort of offer a little privacy..... Which would be great!

I like the idea of having lights, bright coloured lanterns, pots etc and I love the bamboo/palm type plants that give a almost tropical feel! I also want maybe flower beds/raised beds around the edges!

I do want a little grass and I do plan to prob re turf though I'm guessing it would be better to do that next year if I want to use the garden this year

If I move the shed the area the shed is now and the lower patio will be for
Trampoline and garden toys

I actually know nothing about gardening/plants so would really need to look into it.

I think a curvy shape would work really well. You could have a larger circle where the washing line currently is, surrounded by big plants with lighting and lanterns. Then a curvy lawn area connecting it to another, larger circle where the patio currently is (I would make this pretty big, so that the steps cut into it as you go down). Around the lawn, a couple of asymmetrical beds on left and right.

I would move the shed to the far back of the garden where it is shaded, and grow climbers up it.
