Feel the need to do some bulbs/seeds, have I left it too late for spring?

Would love to know the answer to this too - I planted some daff. bulbs today. Hope it's not too late for them......

Tulips are definitvely ok and lilies, too unless you live really far North and have had a lot of night frosts. I think we will be having a few milder nights, so get your bulbe in over the next few days.

It's also a good time to plant roses, they are really tough!

If you are going for seeds, sweat peas can still be sown directly (rather than in pots/cold frames).

Good luck

Garlic, is good once there has been a frost - likes cold earth apparently. I've never grown it, but plan to this year. I'm waiting for some to sprout in the kitchen before i put it out... normally it does this with no encouragement but 'cos i want it too - no sign! Anyone know of other veg?
