i bought potatoes for grow bags on line months ago and left them in the box in the cellar. i just went to take them out to start chatting - they have 5 cm long stems. are they overdone?
i looked it up on line, it seems 2 cm of growth is ideal, but does it hurt if the stems are longer?

any potato professionals out there?

I wouldn't mind knowing too!

Just cut them back as soon as you know. They normally get knocked off when taking them out of the nets if they were in nets in the first place.
