Has anyone successfully used vinegar to kill dandelions?

Just that really - was considering using a feed and weed type thing on the lawn, but found something online about painting dandelions withy vinegar.

No, but we used to keep lawn totally weed-free with weed&feed every three years or so.

You can also paint on glyphosate mixed into cheap wallpaper paste.

Or Wolf do a weed extractor that goes onto their T-handle.
