Watering system - anyone have one?

Hello,

I'm thinking of investing in this holiday watering system from hozelock. Hoping it will help keep the tomato plants etc watered while away in the summer.

Does anyone have one (or a similar programmable system), and have any feedback/advice.

Thank you

Watching with interest. I've often wondered about getting something similar.

We have a Hozelock system, but use it all summer, not just for holidays, Its great, as I'm too lazy to water every day. It is expensive to set up, but when you think about how much you can spend on plants it is worth it. We spend a day in early summer setting it up - moving pots around, checking I have not cut the hoze when tidying up the garden in the spring etc. Then that's it till autumn when we urn it off for the winter.

We have irrigation set up in the conservatory, greenhouse and polytunnel.
Each year we replace a few of the nozzles.
It runs on a time when we are away and on manual override when we are home.
Wonderful system.
We also run it from the giant water but for those plants that cannot tolerate tap water.
