sunday times roses offer

SteppeAwayFromTheKeyboard · 08/03/2015 00:03

dh has just given me 3 roses. They were given away free by the Sunday Times. I am really pleased, but mine only say:

pink bush
red bush
yellow bush

The offers page on line has expired.

Did anyone else order them? Did they say what variety or even what sort they are?

Thanks

Nice of him though! Give them your own names x

They may be like the roses in Lidl, which tend not to be named varieties, but just labelled by colour. I love roses, so hope these thrive for you.

I wanted to know what they are so I could work out if they were ones that flower once in June or flower on and off all summer.
It says Bush rose, so that gives me a clue, at least I know they aren't climbers or ramblers.

Anyway, dh dug up 2 half dead bushes in the front garden and then dug me 2 large holes, which we filled with compost/soil and rose food so our front should look lovely this summer!

The 3rd one is sitting in a bucket of water, I need to find a place for it tomorrow.

Sounds delightful! Roses make good front garden plants, I think.
