Where to get nice planters not too expensively

Hi I'd like to get two posh planters for either side of my front door- I've seen my MIL with nice heavy stone ones but am open to ideas and not spending loads if poss. We live in an old farmhouse so modern zinc ones wouldn't work well.

TIA Thanks

Worth trying TKMaxx if you've one nearby - they have a section with planters and gardening stuff and you may just drop lucky.

If you have to resort to fake stone ones you can paint them with yoghurt and as long as the dog doesn't lick it off Hmm they quickly grow a nice algaeish patina and look quite authentic

Or Gumtree. There're quite often things like that on my local one

I LOVE the idea of painting yoghurt on a pot, that doesn't sound real! And I always forget about TKMaxx thanks, and gum tree. Will have a look.

I have painted pots successfully with Annie Sloan chalk paint in the past, both plastic and ceramic...

Asda have loads of different styles and not too expensive either.
