I bought a small weeping cherry blossom about 2 years ago from Woolies.
We put it in a big pot and this year it was beautiful.Had trumpets of pale pink flowers and is now just losing the most gorgeous reddish brown leaves.
Anyhow, my question is-can i dare to put it into my garden now as i think being in a pot is keeping it smaller than it might be ?
Would hate to lose it by doing the wrong thing ?
Its about 4 foot now.

you could possibly put it in now - is it cool enough where you are that it won't try to stat to grow? if it is, i would wait till later. (dec - feb will be surefire safe.
