Overrun with tomatoes ? Any EASY recipe for chutney

Hi,
Am a complete novice but have lots of red yellow and green cherry toms.
Have jars so would love to have a go at making some chutney.
All the recipes i have seen look quite complicated so does anyone have a really easy recipe ?
Can i use the jars i have with the ordinary lids or do i have to buy special wax tops ?
Lastly can i make chutney with all 3 types together or only red, yellow or green toms separately?

Can't find my book atm but we have made green tom chutney with a couple of red ones in, not sure about using much more.

Cheers.Prob have enough to make just green red and yellow separetely anyway.

2lb green tom
1lb onions
4 oz sugar
1/2 pint of vinegar
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger
pinch of pepper

cook toms/onions/salt/vinegar until soft add other ingrediants (spice in a muslim bag)cook until correct consistancy (45 mins ish)
