Planting my new flower bed - please help

I posted a while ago for some ideas for flowering perennials and had some great suggestions - thank you.

I've got a 3mtr x 1mtr bed and have chosen (based on what looks pretty)
Heuchera Bressingham Hybrids x 2
Aster - Lady in Blue x 2
Phlox - Lilac Flame x 2
Campanula - White Baby for the border x 5

There's still a bit of space I think, are there any nice shrubs perhaps to go with this lot or grasses? Are Hostas horrible? Would they look odd here?

Oh, and lastly, I have about 100 spring bulbs of various kinds to plant underneath - will that be enough or should I get a few more?

Have I made any bad choices before I start planting?

Thanks for reading

Wall flowers, verbena_bonariensis, maybe quaking grass, a dahlia

I did think of a dahlia actually, a yellow one perhaps? Or yellow wallflowers.

In May/june/ july your border is a bit quiet. You could do with something which provides winter structure and summer flower.

I'd put in a Skimmia japonica (evergreen shrub with attractive buds through the winter and flowers in early spring) and increase your Heuchera/Aster/Phlox to groups of three instead of two - it looks more pleasing to the eye. I wouldn't bother with Hostas as slugs will ruin them.
