Ah, now they've shown up.

I'd say the first is stipa tenuisisma with gladiolus byzantinus, the second is an osteospermum, and the third is a sage (salvia).

Salvia.. Not lobelia.

Are there lots of different types of salvia? That photo looks very different to the salvia in my garden.

I've got a really beautiful one in my garden called amistad.

Going L to R, I think they are dierama (looks too droopy for gladiolus byzantinus), osteospernum and salvia.

There are lots of salvias. The flowers in the photo are identical in shape (but not colour) to salvia Hot Lips.

It's some sort of salvia microphylla (or baby sage) it seems.

I saw another dierama the same day, dierama igneum, but the one in the photo is more purply, or even mauve.

The Stipa tenuissima is probably 'Pony Tails' - we got lots, as they self seed quite readily. Look lovely this time of year with the sun through them.
