Would you plant a Hebe in the same bed as Heather?

I want a bit of winter colour & I don't really like Pansies etc.

So I'm thinking a White heather would look nice.

Don't see why not. They both like sun so would be happy side by side. Always go for more than one, if possible, otherwise will just look a bit 'dotty'

Hellebores are one of the earliest plants to flower I think; I don't know if they are categorised by 'time of flowering', but there are dedicated hellebore sites where you could probably find out.

Snowdrops of course, aconites, crocus (species ones are less gaudy I think), and then there are these, that can give colour all winter:
