don't think you can put them outside, they're also quite hard to keep alive (ime!!) nice plants though my mum kept hers alive for quite a while.

theres 2 varieties indoor and outdoor, the outdoor ones are very pretty under trees. shop bought ones in pots are likely to be indoor ones only.

The small woodland ones are ideal for outside - they like the shade of trees and are in full bloom at the moment. They don't take any looking after at all. The bigger ones are indoors only, and much more difficult to look after.

How big were the flowers?

mooshy · 16/09/2006 16:03

Its quite a big one-the flowers are about 3 inches.
Not looking good-i do not want a houseplant so think i will donate it !

It's an indoor one - the woodland ones are tiny.

I got a little outdoor one from the farmers market and so far it has been kept indoors! Need to get a decent pot.

Needs almost no care though, water it before I went on holiday and was blooming on my return!
