Troublesome tomatoes!

Hello, actually I have a feeling that I am the troublesome element here :(
Is it possible to over water tomato plants? I give them about a gallon each every evening but now the leaves are yellowing and they sort of droop and wither late in the afternoon - a bit like me!
Please advise as to what I'm doing wrong. We feed plants once weekly.

yep yellow leaves means over watered generally in relation to tomatoes. Are they outside or under glass?

Hi, mine are outside. Do you think they'll survive?

you can try pinching out some of the lower yellowing leaves and putting a bit more compost on top for now. Don't water for a few days to let them get some oxygen back to the roots. If rain is forecast and you can't move them try and put a bit of plastic sheeting down to keep any heavy rainfall away.

Once the soil has tried out a bit water little and often. The soil should be moist not wet

Thank you so much - I will do that and hopefully all is not lost!

That's way too much water, i water once or twice aweek. They are full of fruit. Seems enough for them. I give them a good amount, half to one gallon. Overwatering will also result in less flavour.
